I absolutely love Christmas. I love the weather (usually), I love all the lights and the decorations and the Christmas carols.
As the stores put out more and more decorations I get more and more excited. I think some of it is that I have a house now not just an apartment. I will be convincing my husband to put up Christmas lights around the house, and we are debating about getting a real tree. I am fine with having an artificial tree, but having a real tree is important to James.
In a couple weeks its my first "Christmas function" of the year with my work Christmas lunch. On that day it will be exactly a month to Christmas, and thinking of how thats only 2 weeks away and then Christmas is only a month away from that shows how close Christmas is.
Most importantly its a good time to reflect on Jesus' birth. We do that throughout the year, but especially at Christmas.
